Introducing Dutch Reformed Church Gordon’s Bay
Dutch Reformed Church Gordon’s Bay was established in 1915, and we have been praising and spreading the Lord’s name ever since. Everything that we approach and do at our church is in the name of God and ensuring that all can join in the joy and power of His Word. We strive towards fulfilling our dream of seeing a church full of dedicated followers whose hearts are burning for Christ.
Our church is based on the following pillars:
- Worship
- Community
- Discipleship
- Ministry
- Evangelism
Led by dedicated ministers, Ds Strydom Bruwer and Dr Jannie le Roux, we aim to bring the local Gordon’s Bay community closer and closer to God.
What we offer
At the Dutch Reformed Church Gordon’s Bay, we are fully committed to praising, honouring and spreading the Lord’s name along with our closely knit church community. We are always available to service and help[ those in need, but Sundays are our special day of intimacy and connection with God. On Sundays, we offer various services, for young and old, to come and join in the power of God.
Our Sunday services are as follows:
- 08:00 – Classic Service. Praise and Signing starts at 07:45, led by classical instruments, like the organ.
- 09:45 – Praise & Worship. A more contemporary service, mostly dominated by music, singing and praise. Here, we focus on family, family relationships and kids.
- 18:30 – Night Service. Service led by youth worker, Johan Botes. More informal, aimed at young Christians. ‘Koffiekroeg’ (coffee bar) right after service.
Come and be part of our wonderful church community. For more detail, please visit our website.
